Todd Simon is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and performer living and working in sunny Los Angeles, CA. Todd has found a niche providing soulful horn and string sounds for countless projects whether they are on wax, TV, or on the big screen.

Bands/artists/composers that Todd has performed, worked, and/or collaborated over the years include: Breakestra, Macy Gray, Antibalas, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, the El Michels Affair, Connie Price & The Keystones, Madlib, Big Daddy Kane, Too Short, Quantic, Spanky Wilson, DJ Greyboy, Clutchy Hopkins, Ohmega Watts, Orgone, Shawn Lee, Phil Ranelin, TV on the Radio, Mulatu Astatke, Arthur Verocai, Kelis, Bonobo, Solange, Moses Sumney, Mindi Abair, Lauryn Hill, Ziggy Marley (for the Grammy-Award winning “Fly Rasta” album), and dozens more.

Recently, he’s been busy making noise with some new projects of his own: the African-Jazz ensemble, Ethio Cali, and the African-Colombian inspired banda, The Angel City All-Star Brass Band.
