“How Deep Is Your Crate” is a new spinoff podcast from Sounds Visual where we’ll be discussing some favorite albums from our own collections, and why they’ve made such an impact on us.

On episode 2, DJ Sesqui talks to us about Hungarian-born jazz guitarist Gabor Szabo’s 1968 LP, “Dreams,” released on the Skye label. Everything about this album is extraordinary: the artwork, the fidelity, the performances, the musicianship–it all comes together to create a singularly mind-bending melange of jazz, classical, folk, and psychedelia.
