For the 6th episode of the Sounds Visual podcast, we sat down with Kit Ciorba, also known as DJ Honeybucket. Kit’s a jack of all vinyl trades, having worn the hats of a DJ, record collector, vendor, critic, producer, and radio personality in his 25-plus year behind the ones and twos. Most recently, Kit hosted a show called “The Breakdown” on KMHD jazz radio, which explored the roots of sample-based music and its source material. When he’s not busy with his full time job as a dad, you can find Kit with his headphones on, forever exploring music and creating a soundtrack accompaniment to this thing we call life.
